Best restaurant in the world and I stand by this. If Pho Xe Lua Viet Thai has 1,000 fans, I'm one of them. If Pho Xe Lua Viet Thai has 4 fans, I'm one of them. If Pho Xe Lua Viet Thai has 0 fans, I'm dead. Menu is seemingly impossible expansive and yet everything is excellent. I routinely get the BBQ beef and pork on rice and it's been a religious experience every. Single. Damn. Time.

Ordered online for pickup. The entire experience was smooth from placing the order to paying, and the food was delicious. I was a little bit too scared to order soup dishes to go so I went with summer roll and vermicelli noodles. The portion generous portion for 2 meals with 1 app and 1 entree. The meats were well flavored and form a nice melody with all of the other ingredients. Everything was exactly what I expected and I will be back for sure.

We came to this restaurant in Philadelphia Chinatown because we were craving something warm and comforting, and this place exceeded our expectations in every way! We ordered the satay beef noodle soup, the Vietnamese sour & spicy fish soup, and a BBQ pork chop on the side — thinking it would be a light meal. We were so wrong! The portions were absolutely massive — especially the pork chop. In New York, the same serving could easily be split into two (maybe even three!) portions. Most importantly, everything tasted fantastic. The satay noodle soup was incredibly flavorful with spices I hadn’t tried before — a very pleasant surprise. The sour & spicy fish soup was refreshing and delicious; I personally would’ve liked it a bit more sour, but still very enjoyable. The pork chops were the star — juicy, well-seasoned, and grilled perfectly. We couldn’t stop eating even though the portion was huge! The owner was also very friendly, which made the experience even better. We will definitely come back the next time we’re in Philly! Highly recommend!
